What Castor Oil is
Castor Oil is a single-ingredient oil, pressed from the seed of Ricinus communis. Art of Vedas offers it cold-pressed and unblended: one ingredient, with no added water, no fragrance and no preservative. It is vegan, made in India, and not tested on animals. It carries a period after opening of 12 months and is offered in a 500 ml size.

- Every production batch is checked for heavy metals and for microbiological safety against the applicable EU cosmetic limits before it is released for sale.
- The oil is assessed for freshness, with checks appropriate to a plant oil carried out as part of batch release.
